Mike Haley began taking photographs with a Kodak Brownie in 1957. His equipment has improved somewhat since then, although he still has that Brownie and a couple of rolls of 127 film.
Along with assorted dogs, cows, chickens, and a flock of guineas for comic relief, he lives with his wife and fellow artist Susy Siegele, on Buzzard Mountain in the Arkansas Ozarks. Together they run Siegele and Haley Pottery making unique colored porcelain dinnerware using a technique they pioneered in the mid-70's.
